This year was the first year we decided to hold Christmas Tree Farm mini sessions and it was hit! Twinkle Tree Christmas Farm was kind enough to allow us to host our sessions at their farm in Suffolk, VA. Our clients were able to get their pictures done and then cut down their own tree to bring home with them. Although it was an abnormally warm December day in Virginia, it was a wonderful day and we’re so glad we did it.
We loved being able to see former clients and their families, along with some new faces as well. Each session was 15 minutes, which sounds rushed, but it actually was the perfect amount of time for each of the families who came out. Most of our clients received between 30-50 final images and we turned around their galleries in 3 days or less, allowing them to order their Christmas cards in time to mail them out for the holiday season. We loved being able to serve our clients in this way and help them capture a little bit of the magic of the Christmas season with their little families.
Here is a short recap of the day. We already can’t wait to do these again next year!
At the end of the day, we got to take some of our own family photos – thanks to our sister, Sophia. It was the shortest session of the day, but we got what we needed, plus some smiles from our little man 🙂 Isn’t he such a ham?
We hope you enjoyed browsing through the highlights from this year’s Christmas Tree Farm mini sessions!
Be on the lookout on Instagram and Facebook for our spring mini sessions this coming May!
Blessings,
Michael & Chelsea
