Smithfield, Virginia Engagement Session at Windsor Castle Park | MiKaylah & Will
When our original session date got cancelled due to rain, we knew that rescheduling their session to late June mean the weather would be considerably warmer. However, I don’t think any of us were prepared for the 95+ degree temperature of their early evening session. Phew! Their Smithfield, Virginia engagement session at Windsor Castle Park will definitely go down as one of the warmest sessions we’ve ever had. But I tell you what, these two absolutely killed it! As you skim through their engagements, remind yourself every few photos that its almost 100 degrees outside and applaud them, as we still are, for not letting it show in any of their photos.
MiKaylah & Will are one of those couples that we knew within 5 minutes of FaceTiming them that they were definitely a Rowlands Photography couple. They are so genuine, kind and sweet that you can’t help but fall in love with them when you meet them. MiKaylah as one of the prettiest smiles I’ve ever seen and Will completely lights up when he sees her smile. Shooting their engagement session felt much more like hanging out with friends than “working.” Having the opportunity to build friendships with our clients during their engagement session is one of our favorite parts of our job and we loved our time with MiKaylah & Will. We’re so happy they chose us to capture their big day and we can’t wait for their spring wedding next year. Have I mentioned before that we have the best job ever??
