The fact that this wedding is on my our blog today brings us such great joy. Sarah & Will are dear friends of ours and we have anticipated their wedding day for many years now. These two chose to have an intimate, backyard ceremony with their just their closest family and friends present to witness their union. These two have been through a lot in their relationship and their marriage signifies the merging of two families who already know and love each other. We were so honored to be a part of their special day and witness their beautiful vows to one another. Although we were asked to attend as guests, we couldn’t let their day go undocumented, so of course, we brought our camera and snapped some shots for them. After photographing their intimate ceremony, it had us wondering why more people don’t plan backyard weddings? Their ceremony was so, so sweet and we loved every moment of it.
Take a peek at Sarah & Will’s beautiful wedding day!
One of the sweetest moments of Sarah & Will’s wedding was when Sarah knelt down and spoke her own “vows” to Will’s daughter, Ella. Sarah has been in Ella’s life for the majority of her life, but now she is officially her step-mother. When Sarah shared her vows to Ella, there was not a dry eye present. These moments are why we do what we do.
Now pronouncing, Mr. & Mrs. Hathcock!
The new Hathcock family!
Not only did these two become man & wife, but they also debuted the news that they will be welcoming a new little prince or princess to their family come February 2018! We loved photographing these special photos for them to commemorate their littlest one, who was present with them on their wedding day 🙂
Backyard receptions with good food and dancing by the glow of bulb string lights might be our new favorite way to end a wedding night.
Sarah’s dance with her dad was so, so sweet. As a daddy’s girl myself, anytime that someone has a father-daughter dance, I tear up. Sarah and her dad have such a close relationship and it really showed as they danced together. Where are my tissues?
Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs.!
We love you both so much and wish you many, many years of happiness and love!
