Rochester NY Country Club Wedding at Cobblestone Creek CC

When we first met Lauren & Zach in Virginia Beach, VA it was for their engagement session at First Landing State Park. Lauren had inquired about getting a session done to capture some engagement memories while they lived in Virginia, knowing that before long they would end up back in NY where Lauren’s from. Because they were going to be getting married in Rochester, NY the following year, Lauren & Zach were planning to seek out a local photographer to shoot their wedding. So we went through their engagement session, all the while hoping that they’d ask us to photograph their big day. After hanging out with them, laughing and having a great time, we delivered their engagement session gallery a week or so later and then got the email that we had been hoping for: They wanted us to photograph their wedding in New York! Cue the confetti!!

We were not only excited about the opportunity to photograph somewhere new, but we were so excited to capture Lauren & Zach’s big day because of who they are. Lauren is go with the flow, sweet and obviously stunning. Zach is kind, funny, genuine and looks at Lauren in awe. Seeing these two exchange vows and becoming husband & wife was one of our favorite moments of this year. We felt like family the entire day and we walked away from their wedding day in awe that 1) this is our job and 2) we have the best clients ever.

Lauren & Zach, we hope you love this extended peek at your wedding day at Cobblestone Creek Country Club in Victor, NY!

Lauren’s grandmother passed away earlier this year and it was obvious that her presence was greatly missed on Lauren’s big day. To remember her by, her grandmother gave her her set of pearls and a butterfly broach that she wrapped around her bouquet and held onto throughout her wedding ceremony. These moments captured of her mom putting her grandmother’s pearls on Lauren are some of my favorite from the day.

Right after they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife, Lauren & Zach embraced for the sweetest hug that definitely brought tears to our eyes.

The Cobblestone Creek Country Club was the perfect setting for Lauren & Zach’s wedding ceremony and reception. We loved the classy chandeliers, soft pink and orange flowers in the centerpieces and the many windows that provided perfect light throughout the venue and gave an excellent view to the golf course outside.

During their reception, Lauren & Zach performed a choreographed first dance routine (and killed it!) as well as choreographed mother-son and father-daughter dances. The photos certainly don’t do it justice, but they are quite fun to look through.

This is the first time we’ve ever taken a full bridal party out of a reception to do photos, but it was well worth it! They wanted photos on the golf course and so we ran out right after they finished dinner and snagged a few shots. As you can see from the progression of the photos, it continued to get darker and darker, but we’re glad we brought them out to do more portraits.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Campo!

We hope you enjoyed this beautiful Rochester NY Country Club wedding! If you enjoyed browsing through their wedding, be sure to check out their engagement session too!
