The forecast at the beginning of the week was calling for rain last Saturday, but we decided to hold out and see if it would clear up. We’re so glad we did because we got to meet up with Ashlee & Hunter for their Richmond Virginia engagement session on the perfect day!
However, the weather was so perfect that there were probably 100+ people roaming around our two locations we’d chosen: Richmond Riverfront and Libby Hill Park. With the help of some strategic positioning and light editing after, we were able to photograph Ashlee & Hunter as if there was no one else around. I’ve definitely got to hand it to these two though, because I don’t know that I’d be able pose naturally with my love, smiling, hugging and kissing, while tons of people watched everywhere we went. Do these two look even the least bit nervous by the extra attention? They were pros!
We loved hanging out with these two and we can’t wait for their New Kent Winery wedding this fall! Enjoy their Richmond Virginia engagement session at Richmond Riverfront and Libby Hill Park.
For our second location, we ventured over to Libby Hill Park to catch the sunset. Although most of the session had been bright and sunny, right before the sunset, a patch of clouds came and blocked the sun. Thankfully, we stopped right when we saw what was about to happen and captured a few glowy, golden portraits before the sun dropped below the clouds.
