Old Dominion University Graduate 2019 | Halie
This beautiful Old Dominion University graduate, Halie, had been following our work for awhile before we ever got her in front of our camera, but we were so excited when she asked us to capture her cap and gown photos! Halie graduated from ODU just two days after we did these photos with two Bachelor of Science Degrees (talk about a go-getter!). While we walked around campus with her mom and boyfriend, we chatted about her future plans and found out that she’ll be returning to the beautiful Norfolk, Virginia campus to complete her Masters in Exercise Science starting in the fall.
The beautiful ODU campus with all it’s glorious golden light was beautiful right before sunset, but it was certainly busy, even after hours. As expected just two days before graduation, many other seniors were running around the grounds, getting their cap and gown photos done as well. In fact, we had to wait at a few of the “ODU icons,” like the sign below, before we could shoot there. We didn’t mind the wait though because we got to catch up and chat about life. It’s so fun for us when we finally get to meet people that we have been following online for awhile because just as we have kept up with their successes, they have watched our little family and all our adventures and we feel like old friends catching up rather than strangers meeting for the first time.
Although senior photos are not something we specialize in, we love making the exception for long-time followers of our work. We hope you enjoy looking through just a few of our favorites from Halie’s cap and gown session at Old Dominion University!
