What an honor it was to capture this beautiful in home newborn session for the Collier Family! Katelyn & Jimmy are past clients of ours and it feels like just yesterday we were photographing their beautiful Woman’s Club of Portsmouth wedding. It’s been three years since their wedding day and they (finally!) introduced their newest addition into the world on October 11, 2019. We were so thrilled when they asked us to come into their home and photograph them with their beautiful little girl, who was just 2 weeks old for these photos.
One of the reasons that we love what we do is because we get to be a part of so many love stories. From their engagement session to their wedding day, we are supporting our couples, encouraging them and praying over their future marriages. It’s always bittersweet when the wedding day comes because we know we have to say “goodbye” for now. We’ve been so thankful to be able to keep up with 99.9% of our couples on social media after their wedding day and cheer them on as they reach new goals, establish careers, buy houses and start their lives together. However, it’s a whole new level of awe and excitement when our couples start families of their own! And when they ask us to photograph their little ones during their first few weeks of life – swoon! It’s an incredible honor to be part of so many love stories, watch as our couples add to their legacy AND photograph those memories for them.
Yes, it’s true, we DO have the best jobs ever!
