As wedding photographers, we see many bouquets, gowns, rings and invitation suites that are uniquely designed for our couple’s wedding days. While each wedding is beautiful and has special details incorporated into them that make each theme unique to the couple, very few times have we been completely blown away by the beauty of a wedding theme. This vibrant, stunning, autumn wedding was certainly one for the books and we were so honored to capture it for Emma & Brandon. Her bridal bouquet was jaw-dropping and the rose gold details tied in the wedding colors perfectly, making this wedding one of our favorites to-date.
Aside from her beautifully planned wedding theme, when Emma asked us to photograph her wedding, we were floored. As a photographer herself, we saw it as a great honor to be asked to capture the best day of her life. From the moment we met these two for their engagement session, we knew that their wedding was going to be amazing. Emma & Brandon have been together for 6 years and their union was highly anticipated by all of their cherished wedding guests. Emma and Brandon chose the Smithfield Center for their wedding venue and held their sweet ceremony on the back deck of the venue. Lucky for them, the weather was absolutely perfect for their early November wedding day. Right after the sweet couple exchanged vows, we stole them away for some bride & groom portraits and we fell in love all over again with the gorgeous golden tones that Smithfield always blesses us with. This wedding was so hard to narrow down our favorites, so here is a longer-than-average blog post of Emma & Brandon’s stunning, Smithfield Center wedding!
This bouquet!! All the heart eyes!
This bridal party was the best! It felt like we were hanging out all day with old friends. You may recognize some familiar faces in these photos; Emma is the sister of Ellie, one of our brides from August, and her husband Josh was one of Brandon’s groomsmen! This is such a wonderful family to be around and it was a joy to be able to capture memories for Emma as well.
Emma & Brandon took very little coaching to get them to pose for their individual portraits. As expected when you’re a photographer and boyfriend of a photographer! These two make such a good looking pair, but they rocked their individual portrait time.
It’s time to get married!
It’s official! Introducing the new Mr. & Mrs. Donaldson!
Okay, friends. We nearly died when we found this beautiful location nearby the Smithfield Center. Not only are Brandon & Emma absolutely stunning and have beautiful chemistry together, but this location had us jumping up and down. We took way too many portraits, but we couldn’t help ourselves! LOOK!
And just when we thought the Weeping Willow tree would be the highlight of their portrait time, we turned around and found this stunningly vibrant red tree, all by itself, in the middle of the park. This tree was the perfect additional location for their bride & groom portraits because it blended seamlessly with the vibrant reds in their wedding florals.
It’s time to introduce the new Mr. & Mrs.!
And now, we dance!
This sweet couple’s unity candle burned throughout the night, until Emma & Brandon ended their night with their bubble exit.
Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Donaldson!
