This engagement session is one that I’ve been secretly looking forward to for years. And not because Hunter & Brenna have been dating for several years, but because I have known Brenna since we were both young teenagers. Shortly after I started doing photography, I had the honor of doing Brenna’s senior photos. A lot has changed in 6 years, but I am beyond excited that Michael and I get to capture these brand new memories as Brenna becomes a wife!
Brenna & Hunter are so sweet together and we had such a blast with them during their engagement session. We strolled around downtown Richmond and got some beautiful shots at the Capitol building before venturing over to Libby Hill Park to watch the sunset and get some glowy, golden hour photos. They were both such good sports, as we fought the cold, autumn breeze last weekend. The result of their hardwork is below, but these two rocked their session! We had such a great time catching up and chatting about life and the future. We walked away from their session wishing that we had more time to spend in Richmond so that we could continue to hang out with them.
While we not-so-patiently wait for their autumn wedding next year, take a look below at our favorite images from Brenna & Hunter’s engagement session! 🙂
Libby Hill Park is a local favorite for it’s beautiful view of the city and the perfect place to catch the sunset, but it also has a very special meaning to Brenna & Hunter. After many days and evenings spent here together, Hunter proposed to Brenna on this very bench last June. When they told us the story of how he proposed and how often they come to Libby Hill, we knew we had to snag a few photos of them on this very special bench.
The way they look at each other is so sweet!
Time for some glowy, sunset portraits!!
Brenna’s ring is SO stunning! I mean, look at it! Hunter did a great job picking this out for her.
