Breaux Vineyard Wedding | Purcellville, Virginia | Tori & Stephen
As soon as we arrived at Breaux Vineyard in Purcellville, VA, we were blown away by the view. Extending up the Short Hill mountain and nestled in between the hills, Breaux Vineyard has 404 acres of private land that is just begging to be photographed. Though it is off season for the grapes, the vineyard still makes for a beautiful backdrop for a wedding ceremony. As we pulled up in our car, about to start the day, we couldn’t help but be extra excited that we were going to be able to capture Tori & Stephen’s wedding day at such a stunning venue. Their Breaux Vineyard wedding was sure to be beautiful, no matter the season.
When we realized we had booked ourselves a double-header in November, we knew then it was going to be crazy. Having two weddings in a weekend is fun, tiring and busy – then add in several hours of travel, 8-9 hours of shooting and an 11 month old baby into the mix and you have yourself quite the weekend! While one might ask why we said yes to photographing both weddings, the better question for us is how could we have said no to either of our couples?
Tori & Stephen had inquired with us around the time that Isaiah was about to be born and so emails were scattered and communication was not always timely. Through our big life change, Tori & Stephen decided to book us for their wedding photography. For the first time since we’ve been a husband & wife team, Michael shot their Richmond engagement session alone while I stayed home with a brand new, 3 week old baby. Michael did a great job and their session was so dreamy with a perfect Virginia snow, but it felt so wrong for me to not be a part of their session. Tori and I finally got to meet in person after a year of emailing one another, and it felt like we had known each other much longer. We are so invested in them and their wedding day, but they are just as invested in us and our life. It’s such a sweet relationship to have with our brides.
It it always so clear to us when someone is a “Rowlands Photography bride” because they glow. They glow with excitement for their wedding day, they glow with genuine joy (because that’s who they are) and they glow just thinking of their upcoming marriage. And let me tell you, Tori was absolutely radiant on her wedding day. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Tori & Stephen exchanged vows in front of the vineyard, nestled in the hills of Loudoun County. At the end of the night, a sparkler exit sent them off and we waved goodbye to the happy couple.
Tori & Stephen, we’re so thankful you chose us to photograph your big day at Breaux Vineyard. Thank you for giving us grace while our family expanded and thank you for welcoming us into yours. We love you guys and we hope to see you again very soon!
“Something old, something new, something borrow, something blue and a sixpence for your shoe.”
Ceremony time! Here comes the bride!
This look! Tori, you are STUNNING!
What a view at this Breaux Vineyard wedding!
Fun fact: The bakery that made Tori & Stephen’s wedding cake is the same bakery that made her parents wedding cake. We love the thought and history that lies behind every detail of a couple’s wedding day.
Tori & Stephen’s bridal party was small, but SO fun. We had a great time with them throughout the day.
Always, always, always say yes to sunset portraits.
Especially in the mountains of Virginia at a Breaux Vineyard wedding.
Time to dance!
One of our favorite sparkler exits to date!
We hope you enjoyed looking through this beautiful November Breaux Vineyard wedding!
