Last Sunday, we had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of family friends, Molly & Glenn, in downtown Suffolk, VA. Molly’s family has known the Rowlands family for many, many years now and so it’s almost a given that we will end up photographing their family’s weddings. Being able to preserve memories for the people that you’re closest to is a huge honor. We loved every part of Molly & Glenn’s fairytale Hilton wedding and had a wonderful time celebrating with them.
Molly chose a beautiful, princess style wedding gown that looked like it was made for Cinderella herself. She added a beautiful tiara, long white gloves and a romantic rose bouquet to complete her look and, goodness, did she look like a princess. When Glenn saw his bride walking down the aisle, he couldn’t hold back his tears and neither could we. Their ceremony was short and sweet, but emotion-filled. With the threat of a hurricane on it’s way, we didn’t know if Molly & Glenn would see a dry wedding day. However, the rain held off and Molly & Glenn got to have the wedding they had hoped for. After a grand sparkler exit send-off, the new Mr. & Mrs. were off to begin their new life together.
Congratulations, Molly & Glenn! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day!
Daddy-daughter first look…always brings the tears
Doesn’t Molly look like a Disney princess? Just Cinderella ready to marry her Prince.
Molly & Glenn chose to have just a maid of honor and best man for their wedding party. While we love large group photos of the wedding party, there is something special about only have two people in your bridal party.
This photo may seem out of place, but this was capturing during the blessing of the food during the reception. We found it so sweet that Molly grasped her, now, husband’s hand during the prayer and held it over her heart.
These two put on quite the dance number!
Sweet moments with his momma.
And now, we dance!
A special treat for all of Molly & Glenn’s wedding guests was brought all the way from Italy. Glenn’s grandparents live near Confetti Pelino, which makes the sweet, Italian candy known as “confetti.” Confetti Pelino also happens to be the same company that Prince Harry & Meghan Markle used for their wedding this past May.
At the very end of the night, Molly & Glenn chose to have one last dance, just the two of them, to soak in those last few moments of their wedding day.
Congratulations you two!
